His name was to me, and forever will be, Alex Pelluci. I met him when I was just eighteen years old. Even then he seemed much older then he should. His mannerisms were unique and pure. I always told him, ‘Alex you have a heart of gold encased in iron.’ Every moment we spent together was another memory I wish I hadn’t forgotten. I would see his shadow in the corner of my eye when I was resting after work, or the little things he used to say would pop into my head as if he was still with me. Diadem Obscure - Chapter 5My legs dangled out of my truck door as I gathered my thoughts on the side of the road for a few minutes. I have been so distracted lately; if I don’t start paying attention, it’s likely that I’m going to get someone killed. My cell phone rang from inside me pants pocket. I struggled to free it and flipped it open placing it directly to my ear. Unfortunately I was holding the cell phone upside down so as I quickly fumbled to turn it around. I almost dropped it twice before it finally landed on the passenger seat. I reached for it and took an angry-deep breath as I answered it “hello?”   
 “Hey Alex.”

 The putrid smell of sweat from the seats of the police cruiser was masked by the citrus car freshener latched onto the air vents. It appeared that the seats had blood stains from uncooperative assailants as well. I cringed as thoughts ran through my head about drug dealers and addicts being hauled away in the same seat I was being escorted in. Ashley’s head meandered back and forth across my shoulder with the rumble of the broken highway scarred with potholes and debris from the recent storm. She wiped them dry on a soiled hand towel that sat next to her on the counter. I thought it might be a little embarrassing. I know how you like to keep your hobbies a secret.” Michael was sitting in the living room with Jake and Liana watching TV. I couldn't bring myself to tell him how much I really hated her.

I just woke up from the floor at 6:40pm. My parents let me go home from work early because I was hurting so much and I've still got a migrane. I can't stand this...

I've been playing Okami for the PS2. It's a nice escape. The more I play the more I absolutely love the world that they created. I think I'm out of creative juices for now, but we'll see...

It is good to make people question themselves and their beliefs. I was only pointing out that we need to be careful not to sound as if we have the right answers. What you know is what you know, and while you should share your knowledge, it doesn't do anyone any good to condescend others for what they believe. In fact, it may only alienate them from learning something new. I respect your passion.
